By now, you’re probably just staring at your calendar and watch, watching as they march inexorably closer to the inevitable launch date of the Apple tablet. Oh, and don’t forget that tomorrow is a big day as well. Tomorrow is the day you can pre-order your iPad. Apple is ready. Or, should we say that Apple is getting ready, as they continue to make a few last minute alterations to their App Store and iBookstore.

Back in February (like that was all that long ago, right?) the iBookstore apparently had 35 categories when it came to iBooks. 35. Thankfully though, someone at Apple realized that this was a bit too many, and they’ve decided to pick it apart, before ending up on a firm 20. All of this information is coming from a San Francisco-based mobile media research firm called Busted Loop, and they’re saying that among the categories we will find “Fiction & Literature,” “Comics and Graphic Novels,” “Romance,” and “Cookbooks.” While we may not be the best cooks, we can definitely picture ourselves in the kitchen, with the iPad propped up, and watching the interactive cookbook teaching us how to make that chicken dish. (We can dream.) The kicker is, though, that amongst those parent categories, there’s apparently 150 sub-categories. Like, you’ll find “manga” under the “Comics and Graphic Novels” section.

Also, Apple is going ahead and marking some applications “iPad-ready,” as developers update their projects. With all of this news, we can barely contain ourselves. It’s almost time, and it feels like it’s been a long time coming. Or, as some might say: it’s about time, Apple.

I always hated the "Number of wheels", especially if you have multiple alarms, all of which have placed far away from the current time (which start from the number of wheels).
