Preorders for Apple’s iPad WiFi and iPad WiFi + 3G have opened in in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the UK.  Deliveries of the touchscreen tablet are expected to begin from May 28th.

In the UK, pricing for the iPad starts at £429 for the 16GB WiFi-only version and £529 for the 16GB WiFi + 3G version.  Meanwhile European, Canadian and Australian pricing has already been confirmed.
