iPad SNES emulator hack uses Wiimote [Video]
Gaming on the iPad is already pretty impressive – titles like PadRacer make interesting use of the iPhone or iPod touch as a controller for the Apple tablet – but one thing better is using a Wiimote for some classic SNES play. Thanks to jailbreaking, snes4iphone and some Bluetooth connectivity, you too can play titles like Super Mario World on your iPad.

Obviously there are risks involved in jailbreaking (as there are with using potentially illegally-ripped gaming ROMs for emulators like this SNES example) but we’ve a feeling some people will happily risk that to get their retro fix. Of course, we’re expecting plenty more “official” games using the iPhone as a controller to show up in the App Store, so if you’re overly cautious about hacks like these a little patience might be worth your while.
