Installation is straightforward, with [...]

We’re all for new ways to read content on the iPad, especially when they look as great as they work, and so Alphonse Labs’ Pulse reader has definitely caught our eye.  Designed, they tell us, to be “as beautiful as your iPad”, Pulse borrows the panning story bars we’ve seen on several standalone news apps [...]

One of the best things about the iPad is the potential, which is something we haven’t mentioned in several weeks. And no, we don’t mean the state. In this video, you’ll meet a 99-year old woman who has just bought her first computer to do what she loves to do: read and write. And no, it isn’t what you might think it is. (Then again, if you’re on this site, maybe it is.)

Remember, back at the beginning of March, we brought you that story, saying that the publisher Conde Nast would support the iPad by bringing several different printed magazines to the digital realm. Cat Plays iPad Games Better Than We Do [Video]

Posted 15 April 2010 | By Evan Selleck | Categories: archive | No Comments

We don’t mean that the cat may have any better technical skills than us (at least, we don’t think we mean that), but we are definitely going to admit that this cat is having a lot more fun playing these applications on the iPad than we ever would. And hey, if you’ve got a cat [...]

iWork on the iPad – the collection of Pages, Keynote and Numbers – is Apple’s attempt to make the new tablet more than just a web-browsing, media playing device, but some users are finding it’s more of a headache than a help.  The problem lies in how iWork handles elements in existing documents that it [...]

Living outside the US but anxiously rubbing your hands together waiting for your imported iPad to arrive?  Problem is, Apple may not be happy with you bypassing their launch schedule, and are seemingly punishing such users by blocking on-device iPad App Store access.  The Apple tablet is tipped to go sale officially in the UK from [...]
