Netflix have updated their iPad app to support the tablet’s video output functionality, meaning those users with Apple’s component, composite or VGA adapters will be able to hook up a bigger screen.  Netflix for iPad v1.0.2 supports up to 1024 x 768 resolution, and is available as a free download [iTunes link].

300,000 iPads sold on April 3rd

Apple have announced sales figures for the iPad’s first day of availability, and as you might expect they’re glowing.  Pre-orders, Apple Store sales and iPads sold through Apple’s channel partners amounted to over 300,000 units in the period from 9am EST to midnight on Saturday April 3rd.
